This famous and rare coffee is considered by coffee connoisseurs as one of the finest in the world. Grown at altitudes of 2,500 to 5,000 feet, the beans are processed using the dry method. In this method unwashed beans are merely spread out to dry in the sun. This results in a very full body with concentrated flavor. In the case of Sumatra Mandheling, the flavors are sweet and somewhat earthy with pronounced herbal nuances.
